Our Easter offering today will be in support of our missionaries.  Glenn and Laura Adams, our missionaries in Bolivia, gave this prayer

update on April 5:  "Brothers and sisters, your prayers please as Sucre is experiencing blockades again. There is a protest over gas control

between Sucre and the other city of Santa Cruz. Pray that no blood shed come from this. As I am writing you from the church office, I can

hear the protests in the city center. Tomorrow, all the predictions say the roads all around Sucre and inside Sucre will be blockaded."

Our missionaries Arbin and Bimala Pokharel are church planters in Nepal.

New Sermon Series on the Church This year, churches from around the world are celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

To reflect on this, Pastor Josh will be beginning a new sermon series on the church, beginning the Sunday after Easter.  The topics of this series

will be based on a book called A Well-Ordered Church, written by pastors William Boekenstein and Daniel Hyde.  The book speaks to

the church's identity, authority, ecumenicity, and activity.  Each chapter has discussion questions to further our thinking as we discuss it together

as a church.  If you would like to order the book for $10.50, see the sample and sign-up sheet by the kitchen window.
The past several years, we have partnered with the Ocheydan Iowa Christian Reformed Church in our VBS efforts as they have been

gracious enough to provide the decorations once they were finished with them. As a part of this partnership, we can help them in their

preparations by supplying volunteer labor. They will be having work nights on Tuesdays in April (11, 18, 25) from 6:30-9:00 pm. If you

would be willing to help with this, please contact Pastor Nate or John Busman.
Saturday, April 22 will be the last cooking group until next fall.  Please let Shela or Melanie know if you want to join by today, April 16.
