   We continue to pray for Al Prins, who finally returned home from the hospital on Wednesday.  Pray for him as he will have to continue to go

 in to the hospital for hemodialysis over the next week or so.
    Pray for Chris Sankey who had knee surgery on Monday and was at Avera in Sioux Falls as of Thursday.  Pray for continued healing 

 from the surgery and for her ability to be mobile.
    We remember all of our members who reside at area care facilities. Chris Sankey and Dick Talsma who reside at Edgebrook’s Assisted 

 Living, Gert Krosschell who resides at Edgebrook Apartments and Geneva Peters who resides at the Pipestone Good Samaritan Care Facility.


    Today,  Our Evening Service will be a Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols at 6:30. 

    Pastor Josh will be on vacation for a week beginning on Christmas day.  Contact your district elder or deacon for any pastoral needs.
    Giving Tree Project - As a part of World Renew's Gap Gifts giving tree project, ornaments have been placed on the Christmas tree in

 the fellowship hall.  You can take an ornament from the Christmas tree to buy one or more items in honor of a friend or family member.  Please 

 place your orders directly from World Renew either by donating online, filling out the order form in the back of the catalog and mailing it in 

 along with your check to World Renew, or by calling them.  If you would like to receive a printed gift-acknowledgment card before Christmas

 to let loved ones know you made a gift to World Renew in their honor, place your order and request the cards by December 4.  Blank 

 cards to write your own gift-acknowledgment as well as extra catalogues are located on the table next to the Christmas tree.
   Reorganizing of Elder positions are: Cal Tinklenberg -- President, Al Vis - Vice President, Glen Schoolmeester - Clerk, 

 Dave Holm - Clerk of Records and Glen Talsma- Vicar. Reorganizing of Deacons positions are: Allen Van Dam - President, 

 Clyde Kreun - Treasurer, Chad Miersma - Building and Grounds, Roger Talsma - Special Offerings and Keith Westra - Benevolent Fund.
    Cadets and Gems Christmas party will be Wednesday December 27.  We will leave church at 3:00 p.m.  Plans are to go to the Midco 

 Aquatic Center in Sioux  Falls to swim, and  then for supper afterwards   All costs will be paid by Cadets and Gems, the kids do not need to 

 bring any money.  They need to bring a swimsuit and a towel ( Boys must wear swim suits with a liner.  No basketball style shorts allowed.)    

 Please let us know if you plan to attend ASAP so we have enough drivers. If a parent is willing to drive let us know as we will probably need
