Glen Talsma, Marvin Van Dam, Leon Vander Woude and Don Vogel for Elder. Chad Miersma, Ivan Vogel, Harlow Schaap, Roger Talsma

and Jason Vander Schaaf for deacon. Thank you to these men
From the Council This year, the synod of the CRC has discussed ways of helping those in poverty through a sustainable development model.

The fight against poverty must address the structures and systems that keep people poor.  In the past as a church we have participated in

the Operation Christmas Child shoe box program. While this is a good ministry, we as a church would like to change to a different program

of ministry.  As a church, during this Advent season we will be participating in a giving tree program with World Renew's Gift Catalogue.
Cooking group will meet November 18.  Please let Shela or Melanie know if you would like to join us by November 12.
On Sunday evening, November 26 at 6:30 PM, our church is invited to join the Reformed Church Women's Christmas program.  There

will be no worship service in our church that evening.
Southwest MN Christian High School’s annual Carry The Light (donation sale) event will be  FRIDAY, November 17 starting with a

burger meal starting at 5:00 p.m. The meal will be served from 5:00-6:15 p.m. (free-will donation) and the auctions will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Please help us celebrate in thanksgiving with your attendance and participation in this annual event. If you would like to make a donation

of an item(s), please call the school office (442-4471) or drop your donation off at the school office.
The Outreach Committee is inviting you to the Community Harvest Meal on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Chandler

Community Center.  We will be serving the noon meal from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. with dessert at 1:45 p.m.  Please bring a dish to share.

Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy will be provided. Come and get together with your amazing Chandler community.
Young adults –are you looking for a way to connect with other Christian young adults?  Consider coming to Escape 605 for one of these

two outings.  This is limited to churches within our classis and any friends you might want to invite.  If you are post-high school to age 24, the

date will be November 18.  If you are 25-35, the date will be December 2.  The group will share a meal after the Escape Room.  To reserve a

spot and find out more details, please contact Rev. Adam Eisenga at adamteisenga@gmail.com or on facebook.

need of your gently used or new Christmas items that you don't need any more.  Please drop them off at ATLAS on Tuesdays or Thursdays

before Nov. 10, or call ATLAS at 507-562-5777 and we will pick them up.  We are also in need of some baked sale items for Nov. 18.
