This Sunday, Oct. 29: Today at 2pm you are invited to join reformed Christians from throughout Classis Minnkota in a worship service to be

held at First CRC in Edgerton, MN. This service will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and how the truths of the reformation

still resonate for us today. Please join us in praising God for his great faithfulness to his church. During this service we will be nourished by

God’s Word and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Nursery will be provided. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow. Through

our time together, Jesus’ Church will be built up and readied to follow as disciples of his. We look forward to worshiping with you!  There

will be No Evening Service today because of the afternoon Reformation Service at 1st CRC of Edgerton.
Next Sunday, Nov. 5: World Hunger Sunday - Families in many parts of the world are working hard to break barriers that have kept them

in a cycle of poverty and hunger. Through your Peter Fish contributions you are helping these families learn ways to improve their lives and

write a new story that is filled with hope and promise. This week, please continue to read about God’s work breaking barriers in the

Bible and today. Then bring your Peter Fish banks to church next week as we celebrate World Hunger Sunday.

From the Council This year, the synod of the CRC has discussed ways of helping those in poverty through a sustainable development model.

The fight against poverty must address the structures and systems that keep people poor.  In the past as a church we have participated in

the Operation Christmas Child shoe box program. While this is a good ministry, we as a church would like to change to a different program

of ministry.  As a church, during this Advent season we will be participating in a giving tree program with World Renew's Gift Catalogue.
