We rejoice with Al Prins that he was able to return home from the hospital on Monday and that he is feeling well and has returned to work.
We thank the Lord that Roger Reitsma was able to return home on Thursday..
We remember all of our members who reside at area care facilities. Chris Sankey who resides at Edgebrook Care Center, Dick Talsma

who resides at Edgebrook’s Assisted Living, Gert Krosschell who resides at Edgebrook Apartments and Geneva Peters who resides

at the Pipestone Good Samaritan Care Facility.

Today we look forward to hearing an update from Aaron and Emily Ahlquist and their important work with Lost Timber Bible Camp.  On

that day we will also be collecting an offering to support them in this ministry.  Please consider giving generously to this special offering.
We are working on getting our text message system underway for prayer requests or cancellations.  Last week Wednesday we sent out a

prayer request about Roger Reitsma.  If you did not receive a text message or if you need to add a new number, please let Keith Westra know

so we can check to make sure that your name is in the system.  The prayer chain number that sends out the texts is 797-979.
We will be having a church potluck on April 29 after our morning service.  Please bring a dish to share.

There is a sign-up sheet for meals for Jan and Rog Reitsma on the kitchen counter along with a 2-page “Program Rules” sheet, which

shows the foods that he can or cannot eat for a while. It is important to follow these guidelines so he can comply with the doctor’s

 instructions regarding his diet.
With tornado season underway, we want to remind you that if we are under a tornado warning within one hour before a church event starts,

 that event is automatically cancelled.
We have heard many favorable comments when a Praise Team leads the singing during the church service. However, we are in NEED

of more singers (especially MEN)! We are going to revamp how it has been done in the past with 3 teams and go with one list of singers. You

will be called at random if you are available to sing on that particular Sunday and you may say yes or no if it doesn't work for you. At first we

are going to continue with having a praise team once a month. If we get enough people willing to serve in this way, we may try and go to twice

a month or sing every 3rd Sunday. We are asking you (young and old) to PLEASE consider serving in this way. There's a signup sheet by

 the kitchen window.
The Chandler Youth Group will be having a basketball game, sub supper and pie/dessert auction fundraiser on Wednesday, April 25 at

Chandler Christian School. Supper will start at 5:30 with the game starting at 7:00. Desserts will be auctioned off during halftime. Sign-up sheets

are in the back of church if you would like to preorder them.
Cadet Sunday is canceled due to a conflict in the Reformed Church. GEMS Sunday will be in our church next Sunday, April 29.
VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: (June 25-29) This year's theme is Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus. We will venture onto an uncharted

island where kids survive and thrive.  Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms.  Volunteer sign-up sheets have

been placed at both churches.  We look forward to an awesome week of learning about Jesus and serving our community. Please sign up

to volunteer before May 13.  Contact Karen 760.412.1806 or Sandy 507.227.0585 with any questions. Thank you!
