Blom Family Benefit:  Ryan Blom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma in early May.  Since then, he has
undergone four surgeries to remove tumors and repair vertebrae.  He has completed two rounds of radiation and is continuing immunotherapy.   Ryan’s cancer and tumor growths on the spine have significantly decreased his strength and range of motion, especially in his legs.  Ryan
hopes to begin physical therapy as he recovers from radiation treatments.  A benefit is being planned for Ryan, his wife Christa, and their
children Kalli, Megan and Zack on Wednesday, August 22, Ryan’s 35th birthday, from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Edgerton City Park.  A
Pulled Pork or Hotdog meal will be served from the South Shelter.  A freewill donation will be collected to help defray medical costs, purchase
a handicap accessible van, and support planned wheelchair accessible home remodel costs.  All checks can made to Blom Benefit First CRC.   Donations may also be made at First State Bank in Edgerton to the Blom Family account established by Edgerton First CRC.
