This Sunday, July 1, we welcome Rev. Duane Tinklenberg to lead our morning worship service. For our evening service, the congregation
has been invited to worship with Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church in Leota at 6:30 p.m.
July 8, Rev. Karl Klompein will lead our morning worship service.
Pastor Ed Veldhuizen will lead our evening worship service.
We will also witness the baptism of Deidra and Isaiah Taylor’s infant son, Langston Isaiah, at our evening service.
On July 15 we will join the Reformed Church for the 5:30 p.m. Worship Service and witness the ordination of Jake Vander Linden who
has taken the call to minister to a church in Yankton, SD.
Since Pastor Josh is on vacation, please contact your Care Group elder or deacon with any needs.
Community Kickball night will start July 11 at the Chandler Park, 7:30-8:30. All are welcome!

It's time to start preparing for another season of Apples of
Gold! Apples of Gold is building up marriages, mothers, and lives
worldwide. It's not just a mentoring program, it's not just
a cooking class...it's a nurturing, inter-generational connection that
teaches women how to love
their husbands, love their children,
and how to practice submission, hospitality, kindness, and purity
A new season of AOG will be
2018. Meetings will be Mondays (9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15, 10/29,
11/5, 11/12) from 4:30-7:30 at First CRC
There are six lessons and then a grand finale supper with
spouses. The first hour is a cooking demonstration, the second
hour is a
Bible study, and the third hour we enjoy the
meal that was prepared. If you have participated in AOG in the
past, you know what a blessing it is! Please
encourage/invite someone new to participate in the program. If you are

Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus” VBS or who brought food for the
We served about 70 people for the meals and 40
children attended each night, many from the community. Each night
the kids learned that
when they are lonely, worried,
struggle, do wrong, or feel powerless that Jesus walks with them
through those circumstances. The offering
went towards building a Happy House for a Haitian family. Evaluation
forms for volunteers are in your church mailboxes. Please return
to the Christoffels church mailbox at the CRC before the end of
