   Next Sunday, July 29, The Fellowship Committee is planning a potluck breakfast on Sunday July 29 at 9:00 a.m.  Church will supply the
 juice (apple and orange),  and coffee.  Please bring your favorite breakfast dish to share.

    The decision has been made to postpone the painting of the sanctuary until January so that there is more time to fix any problems that may 
 arise with the repair of the ceiling. Thank you for all your generous support!
   Ladies:  It's time to start preparing for another season of Apples of Gold!  Apples of Gold is building up marriages, mothers, and lives worldwide.   It's not just a mentoring program, it's not just a cooking's a nurturing, inter-generational connection that teaches women how to love
 their husbands, love their children, and how to practice submission, hospitality, kindness, and purity  A new season of AOG will be 
 held September-November 2018.  Meetings will be Mondays (9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12) from 4:30-7:30 at First CRC
 in Edgerton.  There are six lessons and then a grand finale supper with spouses.  The first hour is a cooking demonstration, the second hour is a 
 Bible study, and the third hour we enjoy the meal that was prepared.  If you have participated in AOG in the past, you know what a blessing it is!   Please encourage/invite someone new to participate in the program. If you are interested in being involved, please contact

     Blood is a lifesaving gift most healthy people can give.  The community is encouraged to donate blood on Tuesday, July 24 from 12:30
 to 6:30 PM at the Reformed Church in Edgerton to help those who have been seriously injured and need blood products to help them recover.
 It's the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives.  Every day, the American Red Cross must collect nearly 14,000 blood donations to 
 meet the needs of trauma patients and others with serious medical conditions.  To make an appointment please contact Betty Huisken
 at 507-227-8416 or Anyone 16 years of age or older and in good health may be eligible to donate blood.
    Summer is awesome! With that thought, we would like to share the 2018-2019 school registration packets for Southwest MN Christian 
 High School were mailed out last week and the Edgerton Christian Elementary packets will be mailed out the week of July 15. The first day 
 of school for SWMCH is Tuesday, August 21 and for ECES Monday, August 27. The extra-curricular activities meeting will be held on 
 Thursday, July 19 for all students in grades 7-12 who plan to participate in an athletic or fine arts activity. The meeting will be held at First
 Christian Reformed Church in Edgerton and will begin at 7:00 p.m. If you do not receive your packet, please contact the SWMCH school 
 office (442-4471) or ECES school office (631-6181). We welcome new families to join us for the upcoming school year. If you would like to
 learn more about SWMCH or ECES, please contact either school office. We pray you will continue to enjoy summer activities, summer 
 vacation, and time with family and friends. We covet your prayers as the administration, teachers, support staff, and school board continue
 with preparations for the upcoming school year. We look forward to spending another year of growing together in knowing, loving, and serving
 God and others, and exploring our role as Citizens of the Kingdom!!
