VBS VOLUNTEER AND FOOD SIGN-UPS, as well as student registration forms are available at both churches. Please prayerfully
joining us in reaching out to our community with the love of Jesus
through Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus. VBS is June 25-29

will be June 24 at noon (lunch provided) at the Reformed
Southwest MN Christian High School Building Fund Drive: With a few envelopes still needing to be turned in, the current amount
for the 2018 drive is $57,189.92! Some of these gifts were designated
to the match for tuition assistance. We were able to meet the
of $10,000.00 plus an additional $5,000 to help families with tuition
costs. The remaining amount will be used for the summer projects
replacing the kitchen flooring and gym furnaces. Our thanks to God for
his faithful provision, contributors who support the students and
upkeep of the physical building where Christian education continues to
be available, and the solicitors who made the contacts. We count
blessings one by one and praise our Heavenly Father for the many
individuals that make a great impact for His Kingdom and SWMCH!
The board for the Bible for Missions Thrift Store invites all volunteers and their spouses to a picnic as thanks for all the hours you
worked. The picnic will be held in the ARC Center at the American
Reformed Church at 1720 N. Burlington, at 6 P.M. on June 26.

GriefShare Support Group: After the death of a loved one or friend, you will learn to walk the journey of grief and be supported along
way. It is a place where grieving people find healing and

Thank you to everyone who attended the SWMCH and ECES Society Meetings last night. Below are the results of the Foundation and
School Board elections and the Merger Proposal.
SWC Foundation: Incumbents Cal Groen and Ken Vos were re-elected for 3-year terms.
SWC School Board: Edgerton Area - Kyle Vos ; Luverne Area - Justin Moss ; At-Large - Lisa Brands
SWC Merger Proposal: Passed with 75% approval.
ECES Foundation: Harley Buys, incumbent and Greg Kuiper
ECES School Board: 1st CRC - Rodney Bleyenberg ; Luverne - Amy Haan ; Leota - Darla Feikema ; At-Large - Alex Spronk
ECES Merger Proposal: Passed with 83% approval.
Based on last evening’s vote regarding the merger, here are the anticipated initial steps moving forward:
* The process to become one school will begin with finalization expected in 2020.
* New Articles of Incorporation will be drafted and will need to be
approved prior to finalization of merger.
* Finances will remain separate until merger is complete.
