at the Pipestone Good Samaritan Care Facility.

This Sunday evening, after our 6:00 p.m. service, you are invited to join us in watching a portion of the film "Calvinist.".
We are changing the way we use the prayer chain and how we send out announcements for things like church cancellations.  We are

moving to a system that will send out text messages.  If you have the ability to text message we would prefer to do it that way, but we do not

want to exclude anyone that does not.  There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church for the new system.  There is a section for text

messages and a section for those who do not have the ability to receive texts.  Please add your name and number to the list.  Thank you.

The Southwest Christian High School Circles invite you to their annual Spring Soup and Dessert Supper on Tuesday, March 20th.

Serving time is 5:30 pm-7:30 pm.  Menu choices include chili, cheesy vegetable, pea, and chicken noodle soups, barbecues and desserts.

Free will donations are gratefully accepted.
We are having our spring change-over of winter to spring items at the Bible for Missions Thrift Store on Monday and Tuesday,

March 12 and 13. We invite all who are willing to help to come for one day to join us in this big effort. We plan to start at 9:00 a.m. and work

until 3:00 p.m. Donuts will be furnished. The store is doing well, and many changes have happened. We thank those who faithfully come weekly

and monthly to work. We hope there are some younger members in your church who would like to join us in our work.
Please join us on Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. for our 23rd annual Easter Music Festival at the First CRC of

Edgerton. Southwest’s choirs, area churches, and choral groups will present individual numbers during this afternoon of praise. Members

of the audience will be invited to join the mass choir for the Hallelujah Chorus. An offering will be taken for Southwest Christian High

School. (Sponsored as a fundraiser by Circle #12).
Classis Minnkota will be in need of a Treasurer and Alternate Treasurer during this year.  We have made attempts to find individuals who

would be able to serve, but without success so far.  Members of our congregations are asked to consider prayerfully your gifts and interest in

serving as Treasurer for Classis Minnkota.  This position may require approximately 60-75 hours per year, and classis pays a stipend

(currently $2400 per year) for the work done.  Our current Treasurer is willing to provide assistance for the new Treasurer in becoming

acquainted with the work.  Inquiries may be directed to the current Treasurer Alvin Kooiman (email:; telephone:

507 376-5604) or to the Stated Clerk LeRoy Christoffels (email:; telephone:  507 376-4092).
