   ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We would like to thank our Young People for leading us in worship today.  We also welcome Julie Schuur who will be sharing with us

about the work of Talking Bibles.
The Council has decided to have the interior of the church painted this summer. Please consider donating to the Building Fund to help cover

 these costs.
We have heard many favorable comments when a Praise Team leads the singing during the church service. However, we are in NEED

of more singers (especially MEN)! We are going to revamp how it has been done in the past with 3 teams and go with one list of singers. You

will be called at random if you are available to sing on that particular Sunday and you may say yes or no if it doesn't work for you. At first we

are going to continue with having a praise team once a month. If we get enough people willing to serve in this way, we may try and go to twice

a month or sing every 3rd Sunday. We are asking you (young and old) to PLEASE consider serving in this way. There's a signup sheet by

 the kitchen window.
VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: (June 25-29) This year's theme is Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus. We will venture onto an uncharted

island where kids survive, thrive and become anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms.  Volunteer sign-up sheets have

been placed at both churches.  We look forward to an awesome week of learning about Jesus and serving our community. Please sign up

to volunteer before May 13.  Contact Karen 760.412.1806 or Sandy 507.227.0585 with any questions. Thank you!

over a week due to political unrest. read the handout called “Sucre on Lockdown” in your mailboxes for an update.

along the way.  It is a place where grieving people find healing and hope.  We meet Monday evenings at 7:00 at ATLAS

(101 2nd St SE, Pipestone) beginning June 4.  Call 507-384-7963 for more information.
