    We remember all of our members who reside at area care facilities. Chris Sankey who resides at Edgebrook Care Center, 

 Dick Talsma who resides at Edgebrook’s Assisted Living and Gert Krosschell who resides at Edgebrook Apartments.   

     We pray for Glen Talsma who continues to recover from West Nile virus.

    This Sunday evening Pastor Josh will be exchanging pulpits with Rev. Brian Kornelis of Bethel Christian Reformed Church.
    Cadet Counselors meeting this Tuesday, Sept.18 at 1st CRC in Sioux Falls at 7:30. We will have praise and worship session to kick off the 
 year for us being lead by Pastor Bryan Dick from Volga CRC and music lead by Happy the Dog. A short business meeting will follow. All
 counselors are encouraged to attend and kick off the year with some great praise and worship, giving glory to God for the upcoming Cadet season.
    Don't forget the church potluck dinner on Sunday September 30th after the morning service!
    The  Southwest  Minnesota  Christian  High  School Parent/Circle Group #12  will  be  hosting  a sub supper on Tuesday, 
 September 25 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. during the soccer game vs. Freeman Academy and volleyball game vs. Heron Lake-Okabena. You 
 may purchase a sub sandwich meal for $7.00 or purchase items individually. Thank you for your support for this event!
    Singspiration Hymn Festival to be held at the Bethel Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Reading, MN on September 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.  
 All are invited to come and join in singing many new and traditional songs and hymns. Besides congregational singing, there will be soloist, 
 duets, quartets, and other groups providing special music. A freewill offering will be taken for Helping Hands Pregnancy Center. Lunch will 
 be served afterwards in the Fellowship Hall.

 together at BEHOLD OUR GOD, AN EVENING OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP on Friday, September 21 at 7:00 PM in 
 Bethel CRC, Edgerton.
    Hope Haven will be holding its annual Trail Ride on Saturday, September 22.  This year we are at a new location, Newton Hills State 
 Park! Registration starts at 8:30 AM with the ride beginning at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be served from 11:00-2:00. We ask that you support this 
 even by making a donation towards wheelchair sponsorships. For more information please visit,
    COFFEE BREAK KICK-OFF BRUNCH–Join other women in the study of God’s word and make new friends!  All women of the 
  community are invited to Discover Nehemiah.  In this study we’ll see how the God of the Bible controls history and uses people like Nehemiah
 to carry out his purposes.  Nehemiah’s dependence on God and his steady resolve in the face of opposition, provide examples for everyone. 
 The fall session of Coffee Break and Children’s Story Hour (ages 3-Kindergarten) begins with brunch on October 3 at 9:30 a.m. in the
