    We remember all of our members who reside at area care facilities. Chris Sankey who resides at Edgebrook Care Center, 

 Dick Talsma who resides at Edgebrook’s Assisted Living and Gert Krosschell who resides at Edgebrook Apartments.   

   ANNOUNCEMENTS:  
     This evening we reflect on 2 Kings 5 and the deadly sin of greed. Next Sunday evening we will focus on the deadly sin
 of gluttony.    

    The Youth Group will be selling pre-orders for sub sandwiches until April 7, TODAY. There is a pre-order form/sheet by
 the kitchen window. 

    The Youth Group will be having a volleyball game with the youth against the adults and sub supper on April 17. There will 
 be a dessert/pie auction also. Hope to see you there!

    The Outreach Committee is planning a joint Palm Sunday Service in the Reformed Church on Sunday, April 14 at 
 9:30 a.m.  There will be a potluck dinner following the service in the church basement. Bring a dish to share and bring a 
 friend. Please note the start time and there will be no church School in our church on that day.

    From the Library Committee: Several series books have recently been added to the library.  Thank you to those who 
 have donated books.  Updated donations are always welcome.      


    The Chandler Christian School will be having a Pizza Ranch Tip night at the Slayton Pizza Ranch Monday, April 15 from 
 5-8 p.m.  

    Palm Sunday Music Festival, Sunday, April 14, 2:30 pm:  Please join us for the 24th  annual Easter Music Festival at
 the First CRC of Edgerton.  The SWCH choirs, area churches, and choral groups will present individual numbers during
 this afternoon of praise.  Members of the audience will be invited to join the mass choir during the singing of the 
 "Hallelujah Chorus".   An offering will be taken for Southwest Christian High School.  If anyone has a special number they

    The Chandler Reformed Church will be hosting a Turkey Supper on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 5:00-7:30 p.m.  
 Freewill donation.

    Pipestone County Hospice will be beginning a Grief Support Group on Monday, April 15 at 3:00 pm.  The Grief 
 Support Group is open to anyone who has experienced a death loss, even if the loss has been years ago and no hospice 
 services were utilized.  To Register call Pipestone County Hospice at (507)825-6024.

    This year's Spring Southwest MN Citizen's Concerned for Life Rally will feature speaker Carissa Carroll, founder 
 of Jack's Basket.  Founded in 2014, Jack's Basket's mission has been to celebrate every child born with Down Syndrome and
 to congratulate his or her family with a gift, support, and resources.  To learn more about Carissa's story and her quest with 
 Jack's Basket, join us April 15 at 7:00 pm in the Southwest Christian High School Gym in Edgerton, MN.  

    Christian Education Week at Southwest MN Christian High School will be April 22 – 26. We give THANKS for the 
 many ways God has provided for the blessing of Christian Education in SW Minnesota. Please see your mailboxes for details.

    Friday, April 26 & Saturday, April 27 - Spring Play Performances:  Ever wonder what kind of impact the internet and 
 social media is having on your brain?  Come join the Southwest MN Christian High School students at 7:00 PM at 
 Edgerton Christian Elementary School as they present the plays “This is Your Brain on Social Media” and “The Internet
 is Distract--Oh, Look a Kitten” by Ian McWethy.  Be prepared to laugh and be challenged by this humorous look at our
 “connected” society. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the school office (442-4471) or at the door the evening of
 the performance.

    Attention Junior High students: Minn-I-Kota Youth, a youth organization that our classis supports, along with Dordt College,
 is hosting a junior high youth retreat.  The retreat is April 28-29 at Inspiration Hills.  Since we don't have a junior high youth 
 group, this would be a great opportunity to be encouraged. 

  The Southwest MN Christian High School freshmen class would like to invite all the area Senior Citizens to spend
 time getting to know each other better with games (card and board games) and morning coffee on the following dates,

   Wednesday, April 10: Games and Coffee/Cold Drinks/Snacks – 10:40 a.m.
   Wednesday, April 17: Games and Coffee/Cold Drinks/Snacks- 10:40 a.m.
   Wednesday, April 24: Games and Coffee/Cold Drinks/Snacks – 9:15 a.m.
