    We remember all of our members who reside at area care facilities. Chris Sankey who resides at Edgebrook Care Center, 

 Dick Talsma who resides at Edgebrook’s Assisted Living and Gert Krosschell who resides at Edgebrook Apartments.   

    The Lord extends His invitation and call to come to His table of mercy as we observe the sacrament of the Lord’s 
 Supper today.  Praise the Lord for His forgiveness and salvation!  We invite all professing members who are truly sorry for 
 your sins, who sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as your Savior, and who earnestly desire to lead a godly life to commune 
 with Christ in this holy supper.

    This Sunday evening's message will speak about God as both our Refuge and our Help in Psalm 46.  Next Sunday 
 morning we study God's covenant promises, especially as it relates to fathers, in Joshua 24:1-28.  Next Sunday evening we 
 will focus on repentance and confession from Psalm 51.

   Chandler Christian School will be hosting its annual Society meeting on Monday, June 10th at 8:00 pm in the school gym.  
 We will be reviewing the 2018-2019 financial reports, voting in new school board members, and discussing other relevant 
 school issues.  It will be preceded by a Mothers Club meeting at 6:30 pm. School Board Nominees are: Tami Krosschell, 
 Chad Miersma, Kent Schaap, and Pam Talsma.

    The synod of the Christian Reformed Church will meet on the campus of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI 
 from Friday, June 14 to Thursday, June 20.  Delegates from our classis include Pastor Brian Kornelis, 
 Pastor Scott Muilenburg, Pastor Harold Westra, and deacon Brent Van Schepen.  Please keep the delegates and 
 our denomination in your prayers.

  Murray County Senior Citizens Day!  Join us for a free fun and social event, to play BINGO for prizes and ice 
 cream sundaes on June 11th at 1:30 pm at the 4-H Building on the Fair Grounds in Slayton.  

    Can you help out? We are looking for 1 adult and 1 helper for the crews. Your job would be to make sure children 
 get to the right station and are respectful. ALL VBS VOLUNTEERS: we will be meeting at the CRC church on 
 Tuesday, June 11.

    Prison Ministry:  We are scheduled to attend worship at Cornerstone Church on June 21.

    Our 5th Sunday potluck this month will be a breakfast potluck on June 30 beginning at 9:00 AM. Bring a breakfast
 item of your choice. Everyone is welcome.
