   ANNOUNCEMENTS:  
    Today: The morning message will focus on faith as it is passed down from mothers, reading from 2 Timothy 1:1-7.  This 
 evening we return to our series on the Psalms by studying what Psalm 37 has to say about generosity.

    Our church is in charge of the Edgebrook Care Center 3 pm Lord's Supper worship service this afternoon.

    The Sunday School and Catechism season is ending today.  Thank you to all the teachers and students for growing
 in the faith together.  Please return any Sunday school materials, especially the teacher manuals, to the church office.

    On Sunday evening, May 26, at 6:00 pm, we will be hosting a combined evening service with the churches of 
 Leota and Edgerton.

    Sermon Series:  For the rest of this spring and part of the summer, Pastor Josh will be preaching a morning 
 sermon series on favorite Old Testament narratives - and he would like your input! For the next two weeks, please 
 let Pastor Josh know your favorite Old Testament stories either by email, in person, or with a note in his church mailbox.   Please sign your name so we can discuss ideas.  Children are welcome to submit their suggestions as well!

    Reminder: During the tornado season our church services, both morning or evening, will be canceled if there is a 
 tornado warning one hour prior to the service. You will be notified by text and/or please listen to KJOE radio at 106.1 
 or KNWC at 96.5.

    Southwest Minnesota Christian High School Graduation will be May 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium.

    Chandler Christian School 8th Grade Graduation: On Thursday, May 23rd, Chandler Christian School will be 
 having its 8th Grade Graduation.  This year’s graduating 8th grade students are Cody Post, Cameron Prins, Ruth 
 Melendez Sanchez, and Kayla Vander Schaaf.  The verse that the 8th grade students have selected is Romans 8:31 
 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us,who can be against us?”   This year’s graduation 
 will take place at the Chandler Christian Reformed Church at 7:00pm; the graduation speaker will be Mr. Karl Schmitke. 


    PRAISE TEAM SINGERS and ACCOMPANISTS: We would like to have all praise team singers and 
 accompanists meet after the service on June 2 to learn some new songs that we can teach to the congregation. We 
 will practice for approximately 30 minutes. Please join us for practice!

    We are looking for volunteers for Vacation Bible School. We need crew leaders and helpers, people to prepare 
 snacks and a piano player. If you can help out please let Trish or Sandy know. VBS will be June 17-21. The theme 
 is “Roar”. Registration forms are in the back of church.
