On Sunday evening, May 26, at 6:00 pm, we will be hosting a combined evening service with the churches of Leota
Sermon Series: For the rest of this spring and part of the summer, Pastor Josh will be preaching a morning
sermon series on favorite Old Testament narratives - and he would like your input! For the next two weeks, please
Pastor Josh know your favorite Old Testament stories either by email,
in person, or with a note in his church mailbox. Please
sign your name so we can discuss ideas. Children are welcome to
submit their suggestions as well!

Chandler Christian School 8th Grade Graduation: On Thursday, May 23rd, Chandler Christian School will be
having its 8th Grade Graduation. This year’s graduating 8th grade students are Cody Post, Cameron Prins, Ruth
Melendez Sanchez, and Kayla Vander Schaaf. The verse that the 8th grade students have selected is Romans 8:31
then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us,who
can be against us?” This year’s graduation
take place at the Chandler Christian Reformed Church at 7:00pm; the
graduation speaker will be Mr. Karl Schmitke.
Southwest MN Christian Circle 11 invites you to their annual Memorial Day PANCAKE BREAKFAST on
Monday, May 27 from 7:30 - 10:00 a.m., hosted at the school located at 550 Elizabeth St. - Edgerton. In addition to
pancakes served right off the griddle, there will be sausages, juice,
milk, and coffee. Free will donations are
PRAISE TEAM SINGERS and ACCOMPANISTS: We would like to have all praise team singers and
accompanists meet after the service on June 2 to learn some new songs that we can teach to the congregation. We
will practice for approximately 30 minutes. Please join us for practice!
We are looking for volunteers for Vacation Bible School. We need crew leaders and helpers, people to prepare
snacks and a piano player. If you can help out please let Trish or Sandy know. VBS will be June 17-21. The theme
is “Roar”. Registration forms are in the back of church.
ECES AND SWMCH SOCIETY MEETINGS: On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 the annual society meetings for
Edgerton Christian Elementary School and Southwest MN Christian High School will be conducted at Edgerton
Christian School gymnasium– 210 W. Elizabeth – Edgerton. The society meeting for ECES will begin at 6:30 p.m.
followed by a joint meeting of the two societies to vote on the updated Articles of Incorporation at 7:30 p.m. The
members of each society will vote on this matter. The SWMCH society meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:45.
The established Articles of Incorporation that will be voted on are available to read through the link posted on the
schools’ websites – www.swmch.org or www.edgertonchristianschool.org. Prior to each separate society meeting,
the Foundation committee from each school will conduct its business meeting. We look forward to your attendance
and support of the schools and Christian education your children and grandchildren will or are receiving.
