This week, Pastor Josh will be on vacation.  Please contact your care group elder for any needs.  Next
Sunday morning, Pastor Carl Gearhart will lead our morning service, and Pastor Stephen Wynja will lead our
 evening service.

Everyone with financial records for church groups must bring them to Bruce Kreun for auditing as soon as possible.

This is the last Sunday to make changes to your personal information in the church directory before it goes to
 the printer.

Attention! You can be of service in making a meal for Rog and Jan Reitsma. Please make enough for 2 people - go
easy on the beef. There is a sign-up sheet at the kitchen window. If you have any questions, please call Marcia Talsma.

Our student of the week is Amber Post. Amber is a senior at SWC. Please pray for Amber as she has decisions
to make on her future plans following high school. You may also send her an encouraging note or message! Her address
is 226 81st St, Lake Wilson, MN 56151 Phone number and email are 507-360-2768 apost@swmch.org. Thank you
 for remembering our students!

Please join us for coffee and bars to celebrate Corky Van Eck’s 90th birthday and Corky and Mary’s 60th
wedding anniversary after the morning service TODAY, January 12, 2020 in the Chandler Reformed Church
 Fellowship Hall.

Coffee Break will begin studying the biblical book of Esther on January 15, 2020.  Esther is a unique book in that
it does not mention God.  In addition, the book is set far from the land where God promised to dwell with his people,
there is no temple, no public worship, no obvious sense of God at work.  So the question arises: “is he at work, when
we can’t see him or even hear his name?”  All women of the community are welcome to join in Bible Study
every Wednesday at First CRC in Edgerton at 9:30 a.m.  Story Hour is available for 3 year olds – Kindergarten and
caring adults provide nursery for those under 3. Call Thea (507.227.9513) or Priscilla (507.215.1482) if you
 have questions.

Attention Young Adults of the Surrounding Area: Tacos, Spies, Nachos, and Codes.  What do those four
words have in common?  Join the Connected Singles group (unmarried college-age and up) on Friday, January 17 at
6 P.M. and you’ll find out!  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at the First Christian Reformed Church, 120 Center
Street, Edgerton, MN 56128.  Come hungry and ready to become a Spymaster! Questions?  Call/Text Shawna
 Sjaarda (507)-227-5970
